A few weeks ago we had the amazing
chance to go on a class trip for marketing to the big and exciting Tdot
(Toronto). The
difference between this and a normal day trip to Toronto is our class got to go on a CTV studio tour and be part of the live audience for New Music Live
A
big part of the day was hitting up all the great stores that we don't have at
home. We started on Queen Street with Brandy Melville and then visited Artiza. In
the middle of all our shopping, we ended up finding two treasures,
one being the best yam fries at the restaurant "Fresh" with avocado chipotle dip.
These yam fries can turn your frown upside down. The second treasure was David's Tea, which honestly has the best assortment of tea..... from "birthday
cake" with red/green rooibos, honeybush, sprinkles, and ice cream bits in
it, to a fabulous tea call "movie night" containing apple, Sencha-style green tea,
and popped corn. With over a hundred teas you can make all the great chilled tea lattes you could ever want. After our productive hours of shopping, we finally got to go on our CTV building tour which gave us a brief look into the studios of E!, MuchMusic, MuchMore, 24 hour live news, and Space. To end this fabulous day we got to be a part of the New Music Live audience, meeting all the VJs such as Lauren Toyota, Liz Trinnear, Phoebe Dykstra, Scott Willats and many VJs hopefuls. With a 2 hour bus ride home it was a great time too reflect on the great memories we made that day.
