After School Cool Off

So as you all know, exams are finally written and school is over!  A few days after the last exam is written, students are allowed to go back to school to visit their teachers and check their marks.  This is either when you are congratulated for all your hard work or disappointed that you didn't do as well as you thought.  The make or break point. Luckily for us and all of our friends, we all passed with flying colours, lifting a huge weight off our backs.  Now that school is over, our main concern is making sure this is a summer to remember!

After we got our marks and went back to our friend's house, we made nachos and reflected on our grade 11 school year.  After the nachos and great stories, it started to get really hot and gross, so we decided to go to the backyard and hang around the pool.  Too bad for us, it was the hottest day in weeks and none of us had our bikinis.  So we found alternative methods of staying cool that afternoon.  We danced, we sang, had a water gun fight and took some oh too beautiful pictures. 

I guess the saying is true; "all you need is a great group of friends and a camera to fulfill your happiness!"  Well that's not actually a saying, but it should be, since it was so relevant to that day.  Hope you enjoy watching our poolside, pool-less fun as much as we did!
